I hope there are hot tubs in heaven,
If I make it to that glorious place.
Where worries dissolve, so calm, serene,
Every ache and pain gets erased.
I know that it’s hot in… that other place,
Fire and brimstone eternal fate.
Yet fiery fate’s nulled through grace
Cool retreat from harsh scorching heat.
Still, I’ll soak in my hot tub in heaven,
On a fresh, cold, snow-swept day.
Where the sun is bright, air cold-clear,
I find warmth in jet bubbles and spray.
So I’ll soak in these hot tubs divine,
Sipping cocoa and feeling so fine.
Beneath bubbles I sink, and humbly I think
I hope there’s hot cocoa in heaven.
