I tinkered with fad diets
Of kefir, quinoa and kale
Nibbling on nutrients foraged from a fertile earth
Yet these fresh foods were pretentiously plain
And robbed me of the fatty flavors
That boosted my bland life
I hope to forge healthier habits
To build a satisfied life
Without giving up cheeseburgers and fries
Perhaps
I might discover joy
In daily power naps…

“How are you?”
I think.
Overactive shoulder, elbow
Hip and knee
nerves
Inflamed

….pulsing
….in a path to
….my mini
….migraine
Tired thyroid
….triglycerides
tinnitus
…buzzing
……..ringing
…………tapping
and
alarmingly
low levels
of T
Chronic cough
acid
re flux
….gerd
Sharp pains
in
both big
toes.
what
could it be?
Ingrown toenails?
….may be
Is there a
miracle
pill
for this?
….maybe
According to WebMD
I
should
be
dead
….I may be
……….if I don’t change unhealthy habits
……….but
I answer
……..“I’m okay.”
