Oh, I play play the music. How? With my words in the way.
You. You hear my heart. When? When I sing through the day.
We. We were bouncing, bouncing off my car. Off my car bumper, we were bouncing the night away.
If it’s gonna be me, gonna be you, us dancing. I’ll take it. All. I’ll take it all.
Like a Bible School Dance, in the days before the fall, I’ll take it all. I’ll always, always, keep singing, and I’ll always keep dancing.
Poet’s note: Recently I ran an AI caption generator for a video I was editing. A song playing in the background during a portion of the video. This poem is my adaptation of what the artificial intelligence detected.

I’m K.L. McDaniel, the person behind TheOtherKLM. I’m an introvert with extrovert moments, a fitness-minded person fighting later-age fat, and someone trying to keep life somewhat organized without pretending it isn’t a mess.
