He Healed the Sick

With a touch of grace, a look so kind
He  healed the sick, the deaf, the blind
No proof of insurance, no copay too
A charitable act of love; He knew

He simply healed, sent them on their way
No unpaid bills; no debt to pay
Expenses He covered every single time
The cost He paid every single time

No deductible, no need to ask
He healed the broken, a noble task
Not once did He ask for a fee
He esteemed them all with dignity

He simply healed, sent them on their way
No unpaid bills; no debt to pay
Expenses He covered every single time
The cost He paid every single time

His love shines bright a beacon of hope
A cure for the sick, a way to cope
He didn’t victimize, He didn’t judge
He healed the world with love and blood

He simply healed, sent them on their way
No unpaid bills; no debt to pay
Expenses He covered every single time
The cost He paid every single time

So let us follow His everlasting love
Let’s heal the broken, blessings from above
For with a touch, a simple prayer
Let’s heal the world, let’s show we care.

I really hate talking about myself, but if I have to... I’m K.L. McDaniel, the person behind TheOtherKLM. I’m an introvert with extrovert moments, a fitness-minded person fighting later-age fat, and someone trying to keep life somewhat organized without pretending it isn’t a mess. Here, I write about the things I keep coming back to: movement, mental health, learning, self-awareness, and the strange little contradictions that make people interesting. I’m not here to act like I have everything figured out. I’m here to think through it, laugh when possible, and maybe find a little balance in the middle of the clutter. So, that’s me. More or less.
