We sit
behind a wheel
blasting cool
air
(sometimes hot)

Waiting
for our
turn
at the window
to exchange
a few dollars for
a crispy chicken
sandwich
or
a double
bacon burger
(with cheese)

We sit
idling
passing gas
to an already
choking sky

Shouldn’t we
Be using
a walk-up
window
instead?
