I drank daily eight glasses of water
Its bland flavor I needed to slaughter
I added some lime
It cost just a dime
And the blandness of water I altered
Okay. I get it. This one’s far from a masterpiece, but at least I narrowly met my goal of posting a poem each day for National Poetry Month. Maybe tomorrow’s will be better.

I really hate talking about myself, but if I have to...
I’m K.L. McDaniel, the person behind TheOtherKLM. I’m an introvert with extrovert moments, a fitness-minded person fighting later-age fat, and someone trying to keep life somewhat organized without pretending it isn’t a mess.
