Simple Theory
I have a theory:
simple,
clear
small acts
through small means
change
our world
a penny,
a dollar,
or two,
or maybe
more
from me
from you
We gather,
we give,
then gather more,
maybe five,
maybe ten,
maybe
more
We open
our hearts,
choose
a generous cause,
feed
a stranger,
even
a friend
simply
My theory
is this:
beauty
appears
when we share
a little
freely
We all
win.
Give When and Where You Can
If these words stayed with you, consider giving just a dollar or two to help put food on someone’s table. Small gifts matter more than we often realize.
If you are able, donations to organizations like Feeding America or No Kid Hungry stretch far, especially when many people give a little. A single dollar can help provide multiple meals through local food banks and school programs.
You can also look for ways to support a nearby school food pantry or community pantry, where even modest contributions make an immediate difference for students and families.
And if giving is not possible right now, sharing the message still matters. Passing this along helps widen the circle of care.
Thank you for taking a moment to consider how small generosity, given simply, can add up to something meaningful.
It’s Not That Deep
We have forgotten how to take care of others, and it is not accidental. Political entertainment has trained us to mistake cruelty for clarity and outrage for thinking. We blame people for their needs. We mock them. We turn hunger, poverty, and desperation into moral failures instead of human conditions. We decide who deserves help and who deserves judgment. It is not that deep. A dollar. A meal. A small act, given without approval or punishment. Care is not a reward. It is a responsibility.
