Browser

I browse, I click, I lurk, I like
Into dark hours of night.
I try to keep my status stealth
While following trending feeds
Clicking through lead after lead.
I browse, I click, I lurk, I like,
I heart posts from around the world,
Our virtual boundaries blurred.
I try to keep my status stealth.
I refuse to feed the trolls;
Their barbs bad for the soul.
I browse, I click, I lurk, I like
Videos, songs so full of heart
And skillful digital art.
I try to keep my status stealth.
I browse the trending hashtags
And read through sponsored flash rags.
I browse, I click, I lurk, I like,
But I try to keep my status stealth.

The Least of These

Tapping, clicking posting through a veil of anonymity,
casting shadows where the least of these silently reside.
Our scrolling and trolling amplifies their muted cries,
rolling engagement into a desolate, barren land.

Who are the least of these, the marginalized?
The tortured souls, victims of casual cruelty.
Why do they hunger? Why do they thirst?
It doesn't matter as long as we're the first

To mock why they're hungry, ablame them for their thirst.
Cruelty's the game, trending anger the result.
As the strangers are shunned and the naked exposed
The sick get mistreated and the imprisoned ignored.

These victims, real people; they even have souls
Trolls target and mock in the most pious tones
Bashing and trasing the least of these
Shredding self-worth down to the core.

True character shines light on how we treat others,
The naked, the sick, the poor, in despair.
Let's welcome the stranger, ease burdens, let's share,
Show care in our duty, to uplift one another.

Shallow sway

Our online age
obsessed with
cash for clicks,
it’s too tempting
to abandon integrity
for influence

manipulating
anger, anxiety, envy

manufacturing
outrage, spite, fear

misrepresenting
reality, joy, truth

In my domain
of narrow
influence
I hope
to leave
an online footprint

leading to
kindness, compassion, truth

The Secret Garden of Kindness

Adobe Firefly illustration created based on The Secret Garden of Kindness.I recently discovered this underground group called the Kindness Club. Let me tell you, it’s like discovering a secret garden of niceness in a concrete jungle that’s often shadowed by anger.

Amidst angry shouts of a society caught up in tension and frustration, the unsung heroes of the Kindness Club have snagged my admiration. These special folks have a knack for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary kindness parties. What’s really cool is their steady commitment to being warm and caring. Even when surrounded by a world caught up in rage.

What makes these kindness practitioners stand out is that they operate quietly. They never seek attention nor post videos of their good deeds for everyone to cheer. Instead, Kindness Club members act like stealth guardians of goodness. Their gentle acts aren’t done for applause; they’re simple gestures to make someone’s day better.

In a world where influencers overshare to trend, the Kindness Club takes a different route. People might not know about them because these heroes of humanity don’t publish their good deeds. They’re not seeking likes or internet fame; they’re happy with the quiet joy from making someone’s day brighter.

This brings up an interesting question: Can kindness trend naturally? Do people’s good deeds have to be recorded or shared on social media to be noticed and appreciated? The Kindness Club seems to say no to that idea. They show that the impact of kindness is felt most strongly when it comes from a real desire to make a positive difference, rather than wanting everyone to see it.

So, here’s to the covert kindness agents, the secret artists of niceness. Your quiet influence is a sign of the lasting power of true caring. Can kindness become a natural trend? Maybe not in the online sense, but in the hearts and lives you touch, you create a wave of goodness that lasts longer than any short-lived viral video. Great job, you mysterious builders of kindness—may your quiet revolution keep going strong.

Never Tweet with a Troll

Never tweet with a troll
It takes such a toll
Chipping away sanity
Stained by crude profanity

Never tweet with a troll
It’s so bad for the soul
Kindling hot flaming hate
Please, don’t take the sweet bait

To avoid online strife
And maintain a calm life
Keep this one wired goal
Never tweet with a troll
